Two kinds of metal, one real fix
Standing seam and corrugated are not the same roof. Standing seam runs tall, upright ribs about three inches high. Corrugated is lower and wavy, more like cardboard in metal form, ripples under three inches. Both fail the same way over time, and both can be restored with the same modern coating system once we know which one we are working with.

How It Works

Seams start working loose. Rust blooms along the fastener lines. Fasteners back out a little more with every freeze and thaw. Wind gets a grip on a lifted edge and takes it from there. None of that means the roof is done, it means the surface is due.
